Beaches are always special but the ones in Spain are a tad bit special. They are adorned with white sands and blue, clear waters and are perfect for water activities. They look stunning and some of these beaches are just a photographer’s paradise, to say the least. Here are 9 splendid beaches you shouldn’t miss –

Es Trenc, Mallorca

If you visit this place in November you can see that the entire seaweed has been cleared out. It offers a spectacular view right then. It is an idyllic beach and unlike the other beaches of Spain, it doesn’t remain much crowded, anytime so you can enjoy a splendid afternoon. Walking from one end of the beach to another takes a good 30 minutes – that along with the view of the beach will stun you. Money-wise this beach is quite pocket-friendly – you have to pay 7 Euros to park your car here all day.

Benicassim, Costa Azahar

Benicassim is a beach resort and also a municipality. This place looks stunning when viewed from the top – the pictures will completely leave you astounded. The water here is turquoise blue and is as clean as the other beaches in Spain. The economy of this place is largely tourism-based so you will find tourists here all throughout the year apparently. El Cotillo, Fuerteventura

El Cotillo beach is quite big and has its own specialty. You will be able to see the beach and lagoons that are nearby. There is also a museum for traditional fishing around this area. The rock pools and the sunsets are what grab your attention. It is basically a village space which will again offer you the natural quietness. If you want to go to a romantic holiday or a getaway, then this is the place you should visit. You can also just sit and watch the sunsets here over viewing the wind cheater.

Langre, Cantabria

This beach has been highly rated for traveling both solo and with friends and family. It is split into two parts – the left part is smaller and easier to access. It is also better for surfing if you are interested in such kind of activities. On the right side of the beach, you have to go for the Seamless suntan; here you will find the lifeguards present. However, if you want to go nude on the beach then you have to go to the far (right) end of the beach where the lifeguards are generally absent. The beach has a shallow slope and is not ideal for the weak swimmers during high tide. However it is good for kids. But you must be careful with the timings.

Playa de Ses Illetes, Formentera, Balearic Islands

This is yet another beach with pristine, clear water. The best time to visit this place is April when the climate is windy and slightly cool. It is definitely one of those beaches which are better during the summers. You can either take an Aqua bus to this place or take a scooter – the visitors are recommended scooters as theyare much more fun. Taxi is expensive, but you can hire a cycle – it is fun to ride to this place. There are rocky parts on this beach but there are also many high areas which give a spectacular view.

Playa de Bolonia, Tarifa, Spain

You have to climb a dune to view this place, but trust me, it will be worth it. At times it can get very windy to swim, but it is an ideal spot for family tourists. There is also a Roman Archeological site nearby which you must see. The sand here is soft and clean, and the view is merry. It is the perfect holiday spot to visit with your entire family.
